NeuroCatch® conducts a rapid 6-minute scan to measure and report on brain function. It produces a report immediately after the scan to display information on three different brain responses, also known as event-related potentials (ERPs). The ERPs are termed the ABCs of NeuroCatch®.
NeuroCatch® uses three very light sensors that are held in place on your head by a thin mesh cap. The sensors are located at the front, middle and back of your head. With a few drops of gel between the sensors and your skin, it is possible to measure your brainwaves.
NeuroCatch® offers a prompt efficient, insightful window into the brain’s healthy function. It provides a helpful interpretation at point of care.

This device gives us hope to have an objective tool for assessment of evolving cognitive function.

Since June of 2019, Advantage 4 Athletes has been utilizing NeuroCatch® in the assessment of our patients dealing with neurological conditions. In providing a detailed, objective perspective on a patient’s neurological functioning we can measure progress in a far more comprehensive way. NeuroCatch® functions allow us to see the story of a patient’s treatment unfold. We are only scratching the surface with the applications for this technology and will continue to use it to support our patients in conjunction with other clinical monitoring tools.
The NeuroCatch® Platform allows me and my client to gain real-time insight into their brains function. This can help provide them with reassurance or evaluate compared to their subjective reports of improvement during treatment.
Apollo Physical Therapy Centres is privileged to work with and provide quality support to those who are recovering from brain injury and concussion. By using NeuroCatch®, we are able to objectively assess multiple domains of cognitive health and gain an understanding of areas that need improvement. This innovative and evidence-based technology not only gives our clinical staff an increased awareness of our clients health but also our clients cognitive function. Working with our clinical team, our clients can now more easily understand the impacts of their injury and can work with us to improve their deficits. By having this knowledge, they feel reassured that their brain injury is not just an “invisible injury”.
One of the greatest frustrations of having a concussion is that your symptoms are dismissed by others. MRI and CT imaging often classify results as “normal” as they look for physical markers of an injury, rather than physiological ones. This can leave clients feeling unheard. Having a tool that can help confirm their symptoms by looking for physiological markers not only reassures a client’s concerns, but also provides insightful information to clinicians so that we can specifically tailor treatment plans. The clinical information we gain from the NeuroCatch® Platform leads to a targeted treatment approach, allowing us to assist clients in a way that may not have been previously possible.
If you would like to partner with us by incorporating this cutting-edge technology to monitor improved brain performance, feel free to contact us to learn more about NeuroCatch® or to receive a live demo.
